There's been a LOT of interest generated by the new Workspace mobile app, so I thought I'd remind you how easy Workspace sharing is. Next time I'll suggest the best place to share. Let's assume you've uploaded some images and now you're in Workspace looking at the image collection you want to share... (Click the screenshots to view them full-size)... 1. Click the big blue SHARE button to open the sharing pop-up window. You should explore the other options but the window opens to "auto" (my favourite - see below) where you can set up automatic sharing to Facebook profiles and pages, Twitter and/or To View More >>

Warning: Your high-res files are missing! At one stage or another in your relationship with Photojunction I'm sure you've encountered this warning. If it was a popularity contest it would end up below car salesmen, cold callers and politicians. But love it (nobody) or hate it (everybody) it's there for a good reason. Photojunction travels along paths. It follows those paths to locate, use and update the proxy images, hi res files and exports created as you work. The rules are simple. If you don't move, rename or delete your files and folders, Photojunction will find them. But life isn't simple, To View More >>

Prompted by constant requests for advice by new and aspiring photographers,US portrait photographer Cheryl Jacobs Nicolai wrote an article called, "What every aspiring photographer should know". I liked: Style is a voice, not a prop or an action. If you can buy it, borrow it, download it, or steal it, it is not a style. Don't look outward for your style; look inward. Learn that people photography is about people, not about photography. Great portraits are a side effect of a strong human connection. Read the full article here - noticed in GRINZ. Emma Hughes designed these beautiful wedding albums for Maya & Will. The bride and groom chose a gorgeous 14x10 album with a leather 1/4 page photo front.  The photograph is printed on a metallic paper with a textured laminate applied which seals the image and makes it especially hard-wearing as a cover option. Maya liked a white page design and Will preferred the black page designs, so the album was created with alternating black and white pages. Rather than getting a replica of Maya and Will’s feature album, their parents decided instead to choose a 10×7″ matted album, custom designed To View More >>

Sorry, false advertising - that's as raunchy as this blog post is going to get. We don't have much in shades of grey, but our albums come in colours and fabrics of all sorts – whites and blacks, reds and golds, blues and greens, and more. But just two shades of grey. Something I love about workspace is that when you're ordering an album, everything is visual. You can see the sizes and shapes, and the images are so clear and accurate you can almost smell and feel the leather (I'm getting carried away again). So, no need for shades of grey. The whole process is black and white. Cheers, Pete A To View More >>
